1. Introduction

BeatzBreeze ("we," "our," or "us") operates the BeatzBreeze mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. By using BeatzBreeze, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your display name and authentication credentials. We support the following sign-in methods, each of which may provide different data:

  • Sign in with Apple — Your Apple ID and, if you choose to share it, your name
  • Google Sign-In — Your Google account email and profile name
  • Email & Password — Your email address and a securely hashed password

All authentication is managed securely through Google Firebase Authentication.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the App, including events you create or join, song requests you submit, votes you cast, Vibe Token transactions, your Vibe Level and XP, and event leaderboard participation. This data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore.

Purchase Information

Vibe Token and subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store in-app purchase system. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Purchase validation and subscription management are handled through RevenueCat, a third-party platform that receives your anonymized purchase receipts.

DJ Payout Information

If you use BeatzBreeze as a DJ and opt in to receive payouts, your Stripe Connect account ID is stored to facilitate payments. Payment details (bank account, identity verification) are collected and managed directly by Stripe — we do not have access to this information.

Music Data

The App integrates with the Spotify Web API to enable song search and requests. We access track metadata (song title, artist, album artwork) only. We do not access your personal Spotify account, library, or listening history.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the App's core functionality
  • To authenticate your identity and secure your account
  • To process and manage Vibe Token balances and subscriptions
  • To facilitate live event hosting, song requests, and queue management
  • To display real-time queue, voting, and leaderboard data
  • To process DJ payouts through Stripe Connect
  • To communicate with you about support requests
  • To improve and optimize the App experience

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

BeatzBreeze is designed to be data-minimal. We do not collect:

  • Precise or approximate location data
  • Device advertising identifiers (IDFA) or device fingerprints
  • Contacts, photos, or other device data
  • Browsing or search history outside the App
  • Health, fitness, or biometric data

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking. We do not participate in data brokering or sell your information to any third parties.

5. Tracking & App Tracking Transparency

BeatzBreeze does nottrack you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not request access to Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework because we do not engage in tracking as defined by Apple.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data according to their own privacy policies:

  • Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore database, and Cloud Functions
  • RevenueCat — In-app purchase validation and subscription management
  • Spotify Web API — Song search and track metadata
  • Stripe Connect — DJ payout processing
  • Apple App Store — In-app purchase processing

7. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase with industry-standard Firestore security rules. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device and transmitted over encrypted connections.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the App by tapping the "Delete Account" icon on the DJ or Guest screens. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Upon deletion, we remove your personal data from our systems, including your profile, event history, token balance, and leaderboard entries.

9. Children's Privacy

BeatzBreeze is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (available directly in the App)
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
